Job Description
We are seeking an experienced SAP REM Consultant with 5 years of experience to join our team. As an SAP REM Consultant, you will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting the SAP Repetitive Manufacturing (REM) module. Your expertise in SAP REM combined with your knowledge of manufacturing processes will contribute to the successful production planning and execution within our organization.
• Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand manufacturing requirements and processes.
Design, configure, and implement SAP REM solutions based on business needs, including production planning, shop floor control, and material flow.
Conduct business process analysis and provide recommendations for process improvements and automation.
Configure and customize SAP REM settings, including master data, work centers, routings, production versions, and production orders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP REM with other modules, such as PP, MM, and SD.
Perform system testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing.
Provide end-user support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution related to the SAP REM module.
Collaborate with production teams and manage production orders, capacity planning, and material availability.
Support the implementation and rollout of new SAP REM functionalities, upgrades, and enhancements.
Develop and deliver training sessions to end-users on SAP REM processes and functionalities.
• Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Information Systems, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience working with the SAP REM module.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and shop floor control.
Proficiency in configuring SAP REM, including master data, work centers, routings, production versions, and production orders.
Experience with SAP implementation projects, including blueprinting, design, configuration, testing, and support.
Solid understanding of integration points between SAP REM and other SAP modules, such as PP, MM, and SD.
Familiarity with repetitive manufacturing processes, line scheduling, and capacity planning.
Ability to analyze complex manufacturing requirements and provide innovative solutions.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
SAP REM certification is a plus.
