Job Description: As a SAP BTP Developer with expertise in ABAP Cloud Development and Customization you will be responsible for designing developing and customizing applications using the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) environment specifically focusing on ABAP Cloud development. You will work closely with business stakeholders functional consultants and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions that align with the organization's business objectives. Responsibilities: ? Design develop and customize applications using ABAP Cloud Development tools and technologies in the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) environment. ? Collaborate with business stakeholders functional consultants and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. ? Develop custom ABAP Cloud artifacts such as custom business objects APIs user interfaces and services using ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP). ? Customize and extend existing ABAP-based applications in the BTP environment including integration with other SAP and non-SAP systems. ? Perform unit testing debugging and troubleshooting of ABAP Cloud artifacts to ensure high-quality deliverables. ? Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members and business users as needed. ? Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and enhancements in ABAP Cloud Development and BTP environment and proactively identify opportunities to leverage new features and functionalities to optimize application development. ? Participate in code reviews performance tuning and optimization activities to ensure efficient and reliable application performance. ? Collaborate with other teams such as security infrastructure and operations to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and infrastructure. ? Document technExcical designs specifications and configurations for applications developed in the BTP environment. ? Adhere to organizational policies procedures and best practices for ABAP Cloud Development and BTP environment. Qualifications: ? Strong experience in designing developing and customizing applications using ABAP Cloud Development tools and technologies in the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) environment. ? Proficiency in ABAP Cloud Development concepts such as ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) Core Data Services (CDS) OData services and UI annotations. ? Experience with customizing and extending existing ABAP-based applications in the BTP environment. ? Hands-on experience with ABAP Cloud Development tools such as ABAP Development Tools (ADT) ABAP Development & Operations (ABAP DevOps) and Git-based source code management. ? Strong understanding of BTP architecture design patterns and best practices. ? Familiarity with cloud-based development concepts such as microservices architecture API management security and authentication. ? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical issues in a timely manner. ? Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. ? Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. ? SAP ABAP Cloud Development certification or other relevant certifications in the BTP environment are a plus.
