Role – SAP S/4HANA and Lean Procurement Architect
Location: Brisbane, Australia
Salary: AUD 129311 - 142018 (Annual Gross)
Please Note:- The above salary range is only indicative and maybe subject to suitable enhancements, based on internal company processes.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned SAP S/4HANA MM and Lean Procurement Architect to lead procurement transformation initiatives at a strategic customer location. The ideal candidate will serve as the onsite lead, coordinating closely with client stakeholders and offshore delivery teams to ensure seamless execution of SAP S/4HANA projects, with a focus on Lean Procurement processes.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead onsite engagement for SAP MM and Lean Procurement workstreams.
Conduct workshops, gather requirements, and design end-to-end solutions.
Manage client expectations and communicate design decisions
Contribute to the Fit-to-Standard workshops and requirement gathering
Configure Lean Procurement flows (PR to PO, source determination, etc.)
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of vendor and material master data
Coordinate with offshore teams for development, testing, and deployment.
Ensure alignment of SAP solutions with business goals and procurement strategies.
Drive data migration, cutover planning, and go-live readiness.
Provide thought leadership and best practices in procurement transformation.
Manage project risks, dependencies, and escalations.
Support change management and user training.
Skill / Competencies / Experience:
ESSENTIAL
Good knowledge of technology landscape to be able to guide team.
Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.
PREFERRED
15+ years of experience in SAP MM and Procurement.
Expertise in SAP S/4HANA and Lean Procurement processes.
Strong onsite client engagement and offshore coordination experience.
Deep understanding of procurement master data, transactional flows, and integration.
Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
SAP S/4HANA Certification in MM or Procurement.
Experience in global rollouts or multi-country implementations.
Exposure to SAP Ariba, SAP BTP, or AI/ML in procurement.
ADDITIONAL
Excellent customer facing skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
