Basis Expert Consulting Services Pty Ltd is looking for a full-time SAP Security & GRC Consultant to join our BCS family and work on our client sites.
You will work onsite, representing the BCS brand with a range of customers, gaining invaluable experience quickly while delivering secure and compliant SAP environments.
Job Title: SAP Security & GRC Consultant

Salary Range: Base Salary 90,000 – 110,000 per year, plus superannuation

Roles and Responsibilities:
SAP Security Administration:
Manage SAP user and role administration across SAP S/4HANA, ECC, and other SAP landscapes, including user provisioning, role assignments, and access troubleshooting.
Role Design & Authorization:
Design, develop, and maintain single roles, composite roles, and derived roles aligned with business requirements while ensuring compliance with SAP authorization standards.
GRC Access Control:
Configure and manage SAP GRC Access Control (AC) including ruleset maintenance, Firefighter access management, risk analysis, and mitigation controls.
Workflow & Risk Management:
Implement and maintain MSMP workflows and BRF+ rules to support access request management, approvals, and segregation of duties (SoD) compliance.
S/4HANA Security Implementation:
Support S/4HANA implementations, upgrades, migrations, and rollouts, including role redesign, SU24/SU25 updates, and authorization concept development.
Fiori & SSO Security:
Configure and manage SAP Fiori security roles, catalogs, and groups. Implement Single Sign-On (SSO) integration for SAP GUI and Fiori applications.
Cloud & BTP Security:
Manage SAP BTP security, including platform user management, business user creation, and role collection assignments.
System Migration & Upgrade Support:
Support S/4HANA RISE migration projects, ensuring proper authorization setup, role migration, and testing during system transitions.
Troubleshooting & Monitoring:
Analyze and resolve authorization issues using tools such as SU53, ST01, STAUTHTRACE, and SUIM.
Testing & Go-Live Support:
Support UAT activities and Go-Live preparation, ensuring smooth security implementation and system adoption.
Documentation & Compliance:
Prepare security documentation including role design documents, authorization concepts, and audit reports to ensure compliance with security policies.
Skills Required/Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
8–12 years of experience in SAP Security and GRC.
Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA Security and Authorization concepts.
Hands-on experience with SAP GRC Access Control configuration and administration.
Experience in role design, role redesign, and large-scale role remediation projects.
Expertise in SU24, SU25, PFCG, and authorization troubleshooting.
Strong experience with SAP Fiori security roles, catalogs, and groups.
Experience in SSO integration for SAP GUI and Fiori applications.
Exposure to SAP BTP user management and role collections.
Experience supporting S/4HANA implementation, migration, and upgrade projects.
Knowledge of HANA DB security and authorization concepts.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience working in global project environments and cross-functional teams.
SAP Security or GRC certification is an added advantage.
