Job Title: SAP Security Consultant (Mid-Senior Level)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Security Consultant with expertise in SAP ECC and hands-on experience in multiple rollout projects. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in handling ECC/S4 Implementation projects and has an expertise in user administration, role management, authorization concepts, compliance, and risk management within SAP environments. The role will focus on ensuring secure access management and compliance adherence while supporting the rollout of SAP ECC systems across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:
•Lead and manage SAP Security activities in an ECC rollout project, ensuring compliance with global security standards and policies.
•Perform user administration, role creation, modification, and authorization management in SAP ECC.
•Design, implement, and maintain SAP security roles and authorizations in line with business and compliance requirements.
•Conduct security assessments and risk analysis to identify and mitigate potential security vulnerabilities.
•Work closely with functional and technical teams to align security strategies with business needs.
•Knows about the different phases of an Implementation project and Security's responsibilities in those phases.
•Manage SOD (Segregation of Duties) conflicts and ensure compliance with SOX, GDPR, and other regulatory frameworks.
•Support GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) implementation, including access control, role management, and audit processes.
•Troubleshoot security-related issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
•Provide security training and guidance to end-users and key stakeholders.
•Document security configurations, guidelines, and best practices for future reference.
•Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate security audits and address findings.
Required Skills & Experience:
•5+ years of experience in SAP Security with a strong focus on SAP ECC.
•Hands-on experience in SAP Security administration, role design, and authorization management.
•Expertise in SAP Security concepts related to FI, MM, SD, PP, HR, and other SAP ECC modules.
•Knowledge of SAP GRC (Access Control, Risk Analysis, Emergency Access Management - EAM).
•Experience in SAP Security support during rollouts, including template-based deployments.
•Strong understanding of SOD, SOX, GDPR, and other compliance requirements.
•Ability to troubleshoot security and authorization issues efficiently.
•Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
•Experience in working with global teams and multi-country rollouts is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
•SAP GRC Certification (Access Control, Risk Management, or Process Control).
•Experience in SAP S/4HANA Security (if transitioning from ECC).
•Knowledge of Fiori Security and Cloud Security is a plus.
•Exposure to HANA DB Security and SAP BW Security.
