A high-growth provider of SAP consulting and managed services helps global enterprises optimise business processes, modernise their ERP core, and drive data-driven decision making. To scale our on-site delivery centre in India, we seek an accomplished SAP Technical Lead to own mission-critical landscapes and steer complex transformations.
Role & Responsibilities
• Architect, install, upgrade, and secure ECC, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, and Solution Manager systems across on-premise and cloud environments.
• Lead comprehensive Basis administration: kernel patching, transport management, performance tuning, backup, and recovery.
• Plan and execute technical cut-overs, OS/DB, Unicode, and HANA migrations ensuring zero-defect go-lives.
• Troubleshoot ABAP, PI/PO, Fiori, and integration bottlenecks, delivering root-cause analysis and preventive action plans.
• Automate routine tasks via scripts and DevOps pipelines; design monitoring dashboards for proactive incident management.
• Mentor junior engineers and interface with functional, security, and infra teams to enforce SAP best practices.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
• 10+ years SAP Basis/HANA administration across ECC and S/4HANA landscapes.
• Delivery of at least two production migrations to HANA or hyperscale cloud.
• Strong ABAP debugging and transport workflow expertise.
• Deep knowledge of performance tuning, load balancing, and high availability strategies.
• Hands-on with SAP Solution Manager, CHARM, and EWA analytics.
• Excellent client-facing communication and documentation skills.
Preferred
• Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, or SAP RISE deployments.
• Exposure to SAP BTP, CPI, or API Management.
• Knowledge of SLES/RHEL, Oracle, MSSQL, or SAP ASE databases.
• Familiarity with Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, or similar automation tools.
• SAP Certified Technology Associate/Specialist credentials.
• ITIL Foundation and Agile delivery experience.
