In this vital role you will The SAP Testing Lead will be responsible for the testing and qualification processes for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. This role ensures that project delivery and operations meet industry standards and regulatory requirements specific to the Life Sciences sector. As a leader, you will develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies and test (automation) tools, handle critical documentation, and supervise the testing plans. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive testing efforts and lead a testing team, ensuring the successful execution of global SAP implementations. Expertise in Agile / Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies will be important for integrating these practices into the testing processes. Roles & Responsibilities: Test Strategy Development: Design and implement (automated) test strategies for large SAP programs and Agile/SAFe product teams Testing Team Leadership: Build and lead the testing team and handle test resources to ensure successful deployment of Agile releases Test Execution: Lead all aspects of the execution of test plans, including test automation and manual testing and ensure the quality of releases Develop a culture of continuous improvement within the testing teams by leading retrospectives and encouraging innovation. Prepare and present comprehensive testing important metrics and test reports. Leading all aspects of the testing scope within overall project plans supporting the successful delivery of global SAP implementations. Drive compliance efforts and maintain high standards through continuous oversight and leadership of the testing team. Basic Qualifications: Doctorate degree and 2 years of Computer Science, Business, Engineering, IT or related field experience OR Master’s degree and 8 to 10 years of Computer Science, Business, Engineering, IT or related field experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 10 to 14 years of Computer Science, Business, Engineering, IT or related field experience OR Diploma and 14 to 18 years of Computer Science, Business, Engineering, IT or related field experience Functional Skills: Must-Have Skills: Experience in testing and qualification of SAP ERP systems, particularly in regulated environments like Life Sciences. Proven experience in leading and handling testing teams, with strong skills in staff supervision, development, and encouraging a collaborative and continuous learning environment. Experience in developing and deploying (automated) test procedures and deploying Test (Automation) Tools. In-depth knowledge of GxP regulations, with the ability to ensure system integrity and regulatory compliance. Proficiency in Agile / Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies, with experience integrating Agile practices into the testing processes Preferred Qualifications: Good-to-Have Skills: Experience in leading test workstreams in large ERP implementations, including familiarity with agile/SAFe project management tools and methodologies. Experience in organizational change related to system testing, including the ability to handle change requirements, impact assessments, and validation during implementation.
