We are currently looking for SAP Warehouse Management Senior Consultant to join us at our Global Capability Centre in Gurugram.
Key responsibilities:
• Work closely with business team members of business functions (Supply Chain Execution, Procurement, Inventory Management and Finance) to facilitate effective solution implementations and provide knowledge transfer of system functionality to Super Users, Subject Matter Experts and end users.
• Analyse business process gaps, identify solution alternatives, and guidance to business and IT stakeholders for selecting the best solutions for closing the gaps.
• Work closely with ABAP developers to define programming requirements and test programming solutions.
• Provide production support for SAP warehouse management module including logistics execution processes and integration points with PP, QM, SD and FICO modules. Support SAP interfaces to other core business applications e.g. EDI, RF applications, 3rd Party TMS.
• Manage projects assigned through the full project lifecycle including managing and coordinating the work of consultants when necessary.
• Strong ability to lead discussions with the business to analyze, configure and model processes in SAP.
• Modify, test and validate system configuration. Prepare detailed functional specifications for development activities including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms.
• Build and execute unit testing, integration, and regression testing (build test cases, perform tests, and make changes to configuration or processes based on results).
• The candidate will mainly be responsible for supporting existing SAP instances by working on various incidents/enhancements/projects until this is replaced with a newer S/4 HANA system.
• The candidate will have an opportunity to contribute to the rollout of the S/4 HANA Material Management/EWM module for enabling warehouse management/ logistics execution processes.
Key requirements:
• 8+ years of experience in the SAP warehouse management module under various releases of SAP.
• Candidate should have experience with two or more full project life cycle SAP implementations.
• Blueprinting, Realization, Configuration, Functional Specifications, Unit and Integration Testing and Execution, Data Definition, Data Mapping from Legacy Systems, End-user Training, Training Development, Train the Trainer, Cutover Activities, and Production Support
• Strong skill sets in communicating, training, and supporting quality functions with day-to-day business processes.
• Candidate should have experience in Production Support/Roll-out projects and should be good at working with geographically spread teams.
