Role Details
The Talent Search Coordinator is a part-time role which plays a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of talent identification initiatives that identify emerging sporting talent across South Australia. This position focuses on delivering the SASI Discovering Greatness program, the SASI Talent Search program, and engaging with schools, regional areas, and the wider community. Reporting to the Manager, Sports and Programs, and working under the direction of the Sports Coordinator, the role is also responsible for connecting with national and state sports organisations to support the selection and transition of identified athletes to each sports performance pathway. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the sporting landscape in South Australia by identifying and nurturing the next generation of elite athletes.
Special Conditions
The Incumbent will be required to participate in the Agency's Performance Management Program.
The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent.
Some interstate travel involving overnight absences will be required.
This role requires a working with children check.
Essential Qualification
Current drivers licence.
Senior First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
