We are building a cutting-edge software team in India for a leading semiconductor inspection equipment manufacturer based in the Silicon Valley, California that develops and manufactures process-control and process-enabling solutions that accelerate tomorrow's electronic devices. The team will build innovative software systems & features for advanced precision systems involving lasers, robotics, optics, electronics, image processing & high-performance computing including ML/AI. As part of the core product development, the team will be responsible for the entire SDLC from requirements to design to testing & deployment with exposure to senior client management who are vested in getting this team to succeed. With a perpetual roadmap for several years to come, this is an excellent opportunity for all stages of your career. You will have the opportunity to take lead in building out the team, which will be a mix of new college graduates, mid to senior software engineers & architects. These positions may include client site experiences in the US, Europe & South East Asia. Job Description - Left Right Mind is looking for the best and the brightest software engineers & application development engineers to help our client that develops industry-leading equipment and services that enable innovation throughout the electronics industry. You will be part of a team focusing on design and implementation of software for embedded devices and systems from requirements to production. You will participate in full software life-cycle development UI design, development, testing and deployment.
Position Title : Senior Software Engineer
Position Type : Permanent
Job Location : Pune or Work From Home
Exp : 2+ Years
Roles And Responsibilities
• 2+ years of work experience in machine control and embedded software development
• Adequate knowledge of reading schematics and data sheets for components
• BE/BTech/MS/MCA/MTech (CS/Electronics) or an equivalent degree is required
• Excellent knowledge of OS coding techniques, IP protocols, interfaces and hardware subsystems
• Experience in hands-on development and troubleshooting on embedded targets
• Experience in requirements elicitation, design, development, effective reuse, diagnostics and configuration management.
• Good knowledge of popular Java frameworks
• Good knowledge of SDLC and software engineering
• Proven experience in debugging large complex software
• Proven experience in embedded systems design with preemptive, multitasking real-time operating systems
• Proven experience in using UML, OOP and OOD methodologies
• Self learner with the ability to work with minimum supervision
• Solid programming experience in C++
• Strong ability to understand software architectures/design and develop solutions conformant to defined architectures and design.
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
• Strong verbal and written communication and teamwork skills

• Experience in mixed mode (Java, C++, C#) application development
• High Performance Computing
