Introduction:
Core responsibility is to operate the controls as laid down in the procedures and quality standards providing assurance to Management that the processes and controls within the reviewed areas are effectively designed and operating to mitigating the identified risks.
The work requires good analytical, decision making and logical reasoning capability to succeed in the role along with good understanding of Business operations and controls environment.
The purpose of the assurance is to assure that all the controls are operated correctly and if there is any Gap, we need to identify the issue, plan the action of mitigation and track to the closure.
What will you be doing?
• Risk and control assessment for the business.
• Risk event and issue management.
• Effective enhancement of the control environment.
• Create control awareness across business
• Conduct periodic reviews to highlight the potential weakness in the control environment. Provide control health board to the management.
• Monitor adherence to regulatory compliance, Root cause analysis, problem solving and decision making.
• Ability to synthesize and summarize information concisely.
• Ability to drive own performance and achieve results.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and support implementation based on results and findings
• Support colleagues in understanding and operating of the controls
What we're looking for:
• Band BA3 / BA4 with minimum 12 months in current role
• Fair understanding of control environment.
• Graduate
Skills that will help you in the role:
• Good exposure to Banking Operations
• Analytical skills, hands on experience of MS office.
• Prior experience in customer facing and/or back end operations / investigations role
