Roles & Responsibilities:
• Maintenance & Development of the company's WordPress website and related applications.
• Creating, modifying, and maintaining custom WordPress templates, themes, and plugins
• Collaborating with the design team to ensure that the website is visually appealing, user-friendly, and optimized for performance
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to WordPress websites and applications
• Keeping the word press based website up-to-date with the latest changes & upgrades available from the WordPress community.
• Implementing enhancements & new features on the WordPress website.
• Optimize the WordPress website & coordinate with DevOps for scalability & performance.
• Implement SEO best practices and ensure websites are optimized for search engines.
• Conduct website maintenance and updates, including content updates, plugin updates, and security patches.
Desired Skills & Experience:
• Proficiency in WordPress development tools: PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL
• Experience in React & node-based project development (bonus)
• Expertise in responsive design and mobile optimization
• Knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, SEO principles, and problem-solving skills
