Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Scaffolder to erect, modify, and dismantle scaffolding systems on commercial and industrial construction sites. The successful candidate will work as part of a team to ensure safe access for workers while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Erect, alter, and dismantle scaffolding in accordance with plans and site requirements
Inspect scaffolding components for defects before use
Ensure all scaffolding complies with Australian Standards (AS/NZS 1576)
Follow Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and site safety rules
Secure scaffolding using appropriate bracing, ties, and anchors
Load and unload scaffolding materials safely
Maintain a clean and organised work area
Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and other trades
Identify and report hazards, unsafe conditions, or damaged equipment
Work at heights and in physically demanding environments
Requirements
Valid High Risk Work Licence (Scaffolding – Basic/Intermediate/Advanced)
White Card (Construction Induction Card)
Ability to work at heights and perform manual labour
Strong understanding of workplace health & safety
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
Valid driver’s licence (preferred)
Desirable Skills & Experience
Experience on commercial or industrial sites
EWP, Working at Heights, or First Aid certification
Ability to read scaffold plans and drawings
Leadership skills (for leading hands / supervisors)
