Job Title: Senior Scalr Developer
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Scalr Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications and services for Scalr, as well as ensuring that the applications are scalable, reliable, and meet performance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop software applications and services for Scalr
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code using programming languages such as Python and JavaScript
• Work with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design solutions, and implement new features
• Troubleshoot issues and debug software applications
• Optimize application performance and ensure scalability
• Develop and maintain system documentation
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth operation of systems
• Mentor and coach junior developers
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science or related field
• 7+ years of experience in software development for Scalr
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python and JavaScript
• Experience with Scalr infrastructure, including Controllers, Farms, and Roles
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform
• Understanding of networking protocols and services, such as DNS, DHCP, and LDAP
• Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker or Kubernetes
• Knowledge of software development best practices, such as code reviews, testing, and continuous integration and delivery
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
