What You’ll Do:
Support day-to-day scheduling of NGL products (propane and butane) via rail between origin and destinations across North America.
Build and maintain strong relationships with our customers and partners.
Communicate regularly with operations to ensure NGL transportation needs are aligned with operational activities.
Work collaboratively with commercial and operations teams to plan and execute product movements in the best interest of organization execution and margin optimization.
Collaborate with the rail fleet team to monitor utilization, maintain accurate records of the rail fleet, and assist in monitoring and planning future railcar compliance programs.
Support and manage service levels with Class 1 railroads to maximize product movement and mitigate optional service charges.
Maintain KPIs relating to NGL movements (fleet utilization, cycle times, dwell times, etc.).Work closely with accounting, finance, and Class 1 railroads to ensure accurate invoicing and payment.
Document and BOL management for shipment tracking.
What You Bring:
Post-secondary degree.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a related role focused on rail logistics in North America.
Previous experience collaborating with Class 1 railroads.
Previous experience in railcar fleet management is an asset.
Knowledge of the NGL industry and supply/demand is an asset.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Strong attention to detail with a proven ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet critical deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated and able to contribute individually and as a team player.
Ability to balance multiple priorities and tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Superior verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work some evenings and weekends as required by business needs.
