School Health Officer
We are seeking a diligent and energetic School Health Officer to support the health and wellbeing of our students at our Middle and Senior Schools.
Reporting to the School Nurse in Charge, the School Health Officer will be responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the School Nurses and delivering a high standard of care to all students. This position is a full-time fixed term opportunity commencing in October 2024 until July 2025.

You will:
Provide first aid and health care to students who may be involved in an accident, sustain an injury or develop an illness during the school day
Manage regular student medications
Provide ongoing health care to any students with an existing health related illness or injury.
Complete administrative tasks required to support the health centre.
Audit and replenish school based First Aid kits, including those utilised on yard duty and off-site events
Liaise with parents and staff about student health concern.
Appropriate educational qualifications are Bachelor of Nursing or recognised equivalent, or Paramedic-related qualifications.
This is a term time only position and is primarily based in South Yarra, with some travel to our Caulfield and Port Melbourne campuses.
