Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct healthcare to students and staff (e.g., injury care, medication administration, chronic illness management).
• Maintain accurate health records (immunizations, allergies, health plans) in compliance with state laws.
• Develop individualized healthcare plans (IHPs/EHCPs) for students with special needs.
• Conduct vision, hearing, and scoliosis screenings as required.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and healthcare providers to address student health concerns.
• Train staff on emergency protocols (e.g., EpiPen use, CPR, diabetes care).
• Monitor and report communicable diseases to local health authorities.
• Promote health education (e.g., hygiene, nutrition, mental wellness).
