Health Basix is looking for a part-time school counsellor with one to two years of work experience in a school or inclusive setting.
Job Description:
School Counselor must
1. Identify the academic, social, emotional and behavioural difficulties students are experiencing during school hours.
2. Conduct a formal or informal assessment to understand the current functioning of the students.
3. Plan and implement interventions which will benefit students' well-being.
5. Refer students for formal assessments outside the school in case of requirement.
6. Conduct workshops, on request by the school, on topics related to the emotional and social well-being of the students
7. Have parent meetings to discuss the progress and current functioning of the students.
8. Discuss the student's progress with the concerned class and subject teachers.
Qualification: The school counsellor must have a master's degree in counselling psychology/ clinical psychology/ education psychology
