School Psychologist

Start Date: September 1, 2026
Term of Employment: Term Specific to June 30, 2026, or return of incumbent.
The School Psychologist is responsible to the District Principal of Learning Services - Special Programs. For more information about this position, please contact Satnam Chahal, District Principal of Learning Services at 604-XXXXXX or e-mail .
The successful candidate will have:
Responsibility of assessing school-aged children.
The ability to work collaboratively with school-based teams, teachers, education assistants and administrators. The ability to assist with the development of Individual Education Plans. The ability to write psycho-education reports for school teams and report results to parents. Ability to complete a variety of behaviour assessments and report to a multi-disciplinary team. Membership in the Association of BC School Psychologists (College of Psychologists). School-based experience. Extensive experience in performing psycho-educational assessments for a full range of students. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively. Extensive experience assessing students with learning and behaviour challenges. Eligibility for BC College of Teachers preferred.
A master’s degree in School Psychology.
