Current state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
Strong knowledge of psychological assessment measures, testing procedures, and diagnostic criteria
Excellent understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices related to the provision of psychological services in schools
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, school staff, and related service providers
Proficiency in assessment, counseling, and intervention techniques
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods and use a computer keyboard and mouse for typing and navigating software applications
The employee must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with colleagues and clients
Occasionally, the employee may need to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and lift or move objects weighing up to 20 pounds
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and move around in various areas of the school facility
The employee must be able to communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents both verbally and in writing
The employee may need to lift or move objects weighing up to 25 pounds and may occasionally be required to bend, stoop, kneel, or crouch
Additionally, the employee must have the physical stamina to supervise and engage with students throughout the school day

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct psychoeducational assessments and evaluations to identify students' academic, cognitive, social-emotional, and behavioral strengths and needs.

Qualifications:

Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.

Current state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.

Previous experience working as a School Psychologist in a school or educational setting (preferred).

Strong knowledge of psychological assessment measures, testing procedures, and diagnostic criteria.

Excellent understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices related to the provision of psychological services in schools.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, school staff, and related service providers.

Proficiency in assessment, counseling, and intervention techniques.

Experience In Teletherapy Or Online Counseling Services (preferred).
