Job Description – Script Developer For TCO Reduction Program

Role and responsibility

Automation Foundations team is responsible for batch infrastructure optimization activities inside CX to effectively reduce the infra cost of CCv2 product. The activities are based on a lot of Power Shell or Python scripts running on different SAP/Azure infrastructure.

The script developer is expected to develop and maintain the scripts used for batch infrastructure optimization, including the scripts monitoring the performance and other status of the systems on Azure, collecting the log information, consolidating system lists from distributed sources, and performing system scaling activities, etc.

The script developer is also responsible to optimize and even re-design existing scripts so that the E2E process of infrastructure optimization can be automated as much as possible.

Qualifications
• Proficient experience in script development
• Familiar with at least one of the popular scripting languages, such as Python, Power Shell, Java Script, etc.
• Familiar with relational database and SQL language
• Understanding of process automation
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and SQL Server is a plus
