Airblack is India’s largest online skilling academy, helping people become micro-entrepreneurs or get flexible opportunities through innovative “do-it-together” (DIT) courses.
In two years, Airblack's beauty academy has trained over 35,000 students in 200+ cities as Makeup Artists, helping them start their businesses either as freelancers, studio owners, or earning influencers. We have also forayed into hospitality and culinary and helped over 500 bakers launch a baking business with our Certified Professional Baking Course.

Who are we looking for?
As Airblack enters our next phase of growth to build the largest skilling academy in India, we are seeking a talented and creative Script Writer to join our dynamic team at Airblack. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to craft engaging content that resonates with our audience. You should be an imaginative thinker with the ability to bring ideas to life through words. Experience in writing for various media formats, including videos and social media, is essential. If you are a team player with excellent communication skills and a knack for writing compelling scripts, we want to hear from you!
What would you be doing?
• Content Creation: Transform ideas into captivating scripts for diverse formats including video content, social media posts, and campaigns. Your words will bring our educational journeys and success stories to life, inspiring our audience to embark on their own entrepreneurial paths.
• Collaboration : Partner closely with our passionate teams in content, marketing, and branding to brainstorm and develop groundbreaking concepts. Together, we'll pioneer new ways to engage and empower learners across India, making learning not only accessible but also irresistible.
• Editing and Proofreading: Meticulously write, edit and refine scripts to ensure every word resonates, crafting seamless narratives that captivate and compel. Your attention to detail will elevate our content, making it not just informative but also a pleasure to experience.
• Storyboarding: Create vivid storyboards that breathe life into your scripts, guiding our production teams to visually capture the essence of our educational experiences. Your visual storytelling will shape how our content is perceived and remembered.
• Feedback Incorporation: Embrace feedback from teammates and stakeholders as fuel for growth, continuously refining and evolving your scripts to maximize their impact. Your adaptive approach will ensure our content remains relevant and impactful in an ever-changing digital landscape.
• Trend Analysis: Stay ahead of the curve by researching and integrating emerging trends and innovations into our scripts. Your insights will keep our content fresh, dynamic, and aligned with the evolving expectations of our audience.
What makes you a suitable candidate?
• Proven 1-3 years of experience as a scriptwriter or in a similar role, backed by a rich portfolio of completed projects that demonstrate your ability to craft compelling narratives across various formats.
• Exhibit exceptional skills in both long-form and short-form scriptwriting, adept at weaving intricate plots and concise messages alike.
• Demonstrate strong research capabilities to unearth relevant information and insights, enriching your scripts with accuracy and depth.
• Possess a meticulous eye for detail to craft polished, error-free scripts that uphold Airblack's standards of excellence.
