We are seeking a skilled and motivated Scripting Developer with a strong background in Perl, Shell/Korn Shell, and JavaScript to join our dynamic team. This role involves working on a variety of projects that require robust programming skills, a keen eye for debugging, and experience with distributed storage systems.

You'll be responsible for:
• Develop, test, and maintain scripts using Perl, Shell/Korn Shell, and JavaScript to automate tasks and processes across various projects.
• Write and debug code, ensuring high performance and responsiveness of the scripts developed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate scripts into existing systems and workflows.
• Leverage experience with distributed storage systems, including DB2, Sybase/Sybase IQ, and MongoDB, to optimize data handling and storage solutions.
• Participate in the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines, with a focus on automating code deployment using Git and related tools.
• Work closely with the DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and integration of scripts within Unix/Linux environments.
• Continuously improve existing codebases, ensuring best practices in coding and deployment are followed.

You’ll have:
• 3+ years of relevant work experience in a team-focused environment
• A Bachelor or Master degree in a computational field (Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or in a related quantitative discipline)
• Strong programming skills in Perl, Shell/Korn Shell, and JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with writing, testing, and debugging scripts for various applications.
• Familiarity with distributed storage systems such as DB2, Sybase/Sybase IQ, and MongoDB.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, with specific experience using Git for version control and deployment.
• Solid experience working in Unix/Linux environments.

It would be great if you have:
• Experience in automating large-scale systems and managing distributed storage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
