We are looking for a scriptwriter with a keen eye for detail and the ability to thrive under pressure and understand client needs. The scriptwriter will be constructing scripts for explainer videos for businesses.You must be comfortable talking to clients on video calls and emails, understanding their needs, and writing the script for premium explainer videos. (For references, check this link. ) Any revisions suggested by the clients should be timeously implemented. The writer should know how to balance quality and quantity. Script Writer Responsibilities: Writing and rewriting scripts if necessary (you may need to do this several times before arriving at the final agreed version).Developing believable plots and charactersGetting feedback about the first draft of your work from producers or script editorsResearching background materialLaying out the screenplay to an agreed formatComing up with themes and ideasPreparing short summaries of your ideas and selling (known as ‘pitching’ them to producers or development executivesConducting research before and during the writing process.Planning, outlining, and visualizing the script.Talking to clients to understand their pain points or cause, to write the perfect script to fulfill their goals.Work with creative directors and strive to become a creative director yourself.Empathize with the client when you write.Conducting thorough fact-checks before submitting any work.Attending feedback sessions and making revisions suggested by the client or video producers.Attending training sessions and workshops as required.Creative Writer Requirements: Evidence of writing experience (links to published work would be advantageous).Critical reading and thinking skills.An interest in current events and a general thirst for knowledge.Understanding technologyResilience and the ability to accept constructive feedback.Basic computer skills.A growth mindset
