Requirements:
• Strong Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Java, Python, Go, Kotlin.
• Expertise in object-oriented design, design patterns, and data structures.
• Proven experience in building backend systems with focus on scalability, performance, service robustness, and cost-effectiveness.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize backend systems, ensuring both stability and high performance.
• Drive to explore, improve, enhance, automate, and optimize distributed systems and tools to meet evolving business needs.
• Demonstrable coding practices, including meticulous design documentation, thorough unit testing, peer code reviews, and a preference for agile methods.
• Strong interpersonal skills, showcasing effective stakeholder management with product and design teams.
• A track record of on-time delivery, with a commitment to maintaining quality output.
• Focus on observability, ensuring systems are well-monitored and maintainable.
• A minimum of 5 years of software development experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and messaging systems (e.g. Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Knowledge of security best practices for backend services and API endpoints.
• Prior experience in handling third party integrations and adhering to the strict SLAs is preferred but not mandatory.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to new and complex development environments, along with strong deep-dive analytical skills.
• Previous success in mentoring and guiding junior engineers.
