About the Team
This team is part of Merchant Solution group and involved in continuous development of an European omni-channel and acquiring payment solution – connecting and simplifying payments across all your sales channels, whether in-store, online or mobile. The product offers a secure end to end payment processing by bringing together Point of Sale, integrated payments and acquiring into one complete service. It has a capability of handling funds, managing charges & settlement across multiple currencies and caters to Merchants from multiple geographies. It services both SMB as well as Enterprise level merchants. This is a highly scalable platform that handles millions of transactions per day.
What you will be doing:
- Developing Software using Java 8, REST and Spring Boot, ensuring 100% Junit coverage, and adhering to quality standards measured by Quality Gate like Sonar Qube, Checkmarx and Blackduck
- Developing and maintaining automated test suites for Java8/REST API software module using automation frameworks like Karate/TestNG including
- Developing Database automation for Java 8 /REST software module using DBFit or equivalent
- Collaborating with development teams to understand software requirements and design appropriate test cases and scenarios.
- Analyzing test results and identifying defects or areas for improvement, working closely with developers to resolve issues.
- Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and deployment.
What you bring:
- Strong proficiency in Java 8 programming language, with experience in developing REST APIs using Spring Boot framework.
- Solid understanding of software testing principles and methodologies, with hands-on experience in QA automation using frameworks like Karate, TestNG, or similar.
- Proficiency in writing and executing automated tests for web services and APIs, including functional and integration testing.
- Basic knowledge of Oracle database concepts and SQL queries for data validation and verification.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex systems and identify potential areas of improvement.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Proactive attitude towards learning and adopting new technologies and tools in the field of software testing and automation.
