SOFT's client located in Remotely is looking for a SDET - Java for a long term contract assignment.
Qualifications:
We are looking for a well-trained and motivated DEV/Test Engineer (SDET) who is passionate about testing software through automation. This will include integration with external data providers and partners. Someone who relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals with a degree of creativity and latitude is required.
You ll work closely with product and engineering teams to identify features, develop and automate system validation strategies to improve product quality and shorten release time from dev to production.
This position involves the test and validation of applications, database and services in the overall application architecture.
Responsibilities:
Identify and implement solutions using internal and open source tools & infrastructure
Reviewing user interfaces for conformity and functionality
Working with other software engineers to understand product architecture and features
Create and maintain data scenarios to support development and test activities
Working in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high quality software
Write and maintain Restful Services and API using advanced frameworks.
Hands-on automation experience working with technologies: Java, Python, Java Script, .Net etc.
Familiar with JavaScript based frameworks
Strong hands-on expertise using SQL and the ability to write complex queries
