_Hungry, Humble, Honest, with a Heart. - The Opportunity: You will be part of IAM team, which is an integral part of most of the Nutanix products and solutions. IAM- Identity and Access Management is the service that provides secured and controlled access to all the Nutanix products. IAM team defines who (Authentication) can perform what(Operations) on which resources (Authorization). IAM comes in action with every incoming request from different interfaces (e.g. web, API, SDK etc) from any user using any Nutanix product. IAM provides on premises, cloud and hybrid solutions. _Your Role: _ We are looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test (Automation Engineer) with extensive experience in automation development, strategic, and testing skills to be part of our dynamic and growing IAM Team. As an SDET, you will be: - Empowered to test the quality of the deliverable and be responsible for the delivery of quality products/features. - You will automate test cases for new features. - Enable automated regression runs for product releases. - Working as part of the Engineering team to ensure that the code developed is testable - are the logs sufficient, should any test hooks be built into the code, is there enough debug information available in case of failure, etc. - Analyzing failures and resolving root cause, filing defects in the Defect Tracking System and driving them to closure. _What you'll bring: - - Good analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Strong programming experience for Test Automation with Python, Java or equivalent language. - Hands on experience with testing tools like - Selenium, Postman and Jemter. - Experience with test case automation, regression execution, performance testing and integration testing. - Experience developing clean, maintainable automated tests for REST API and server components. - Experience with writing and debugging automation tests for complex enterprise software. - Experience in distributed systems / HCI / Kubernetes / micro services. - Working knowledge in Continuous integration and deployment and Identity Access Management is a plus. - 2+ years of experience in test automation. - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related stream LI-Hybrid LI-SP4
