We are a well-respected, high-volume alterations studio seeking a skilled and reliable Seamstress / Alterations Specialist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a wide range of clothing alterations, including hemming, resizing, and repairs
Work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of craftsmanship
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of garments
Assist with fittings when needed (experience is an asset)
Qualifications:
Proven sewing and alterations experience
Bridal alterations experience is considered a strong asset
Strong skills in everyday and smaller alterations are essential
Attention to detail and ability to work in a high-volume setting
Reliable transportation to and from work
Availability to work daytime hours and weekends
