Role Description
This is a part-time (Minimum 25 Hours/Week) remote role for an SEO Intern at Elemantix. The role will involve day-to-day tasks related to social media marketing , web analytics , online marketing , and communication . The intern will assist in implementing SEO strategies, analysing web traffic data, managing online campaigns, and enhancing digital communication efforts.
Job Responsibilities
Search Engine Optimisation (SEO): Assist in conducting keyword research, optimising on-page elements, and improving website ranking on search engines. Content Optimisation: Collaborate with the content team to ensure SEO best practices are incorporated into blogs, website copy, and other digital content. Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyse website traffic using tools like Google Analytics and create regular reports on SEO performance. Backlink Strategy: Help develop and execute link-building strategies to improve domain authority. Technical SEO Support: Assist in website audits and work on resolving issues like broken links, site speed, and mobile responsiveness. Competitor Analysis: Conduct regular research on competitors’ SEO strategies and identify opportunities for improvement. Trend Monitoring: Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and tools.
Skills & Qualifications
SEO Knowledge: Basic understanding of search engine algorithms, keyword research, on-page/off-page SEO strategies, link building, and web analytics. Analytical Skills: Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools is preferred. Content Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with an understanding of content optimisation. Technical Aptitude: Awareness of HTML, CSS, and website structure is a plus. Proactive Learner: Eager to learn and adapt to changing SEO practices and technologies. Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Attention to Detail: Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail in implementing SEO strategies. Educational Background: Pursuing or completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, IT, or a related field.
