Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly efficient and hardworking SEO and Social Media Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective search engine optimization (SEO) strategies and managing our social media channels to enhance brand awareness and drive traffic. This role requires someone who is creative, analytical, and has a strong grasp of current marketing tools and strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
SEO Management:
Conduct thorough SEO audits and perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization.
Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing.
Implement and manage link building strategies and collaborate with content development teams to ensure SEO best practices are properly followed.
Analyze competitors’ SEO strategies and adapt tactics to stay ahead.
Social Media Management:
Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy to align with business goals.
Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written).
Monitor, listen, and respond to users in a “Social” way while cultivating leads and sales.
Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g., Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures).
Analytics and Reporting:
Use Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and other relevant sites to collect and analyze data.
Track, report, and analyze website analytics and PPC initiatives and campaigns.
Manage efforts in building online reviews and reputation. Monitor online reviews and respond to each review timely and with care.
Report on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
Collaboration and Strategy:
Collaborate with other departments (customer relations, sales etc.) to manage reputation, identify key players, and coordinate actions.
Evaluate emerging technologies and provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as an SEO Manager, Social Media Manager or similar role.
Experience with A/B testing and other testing metrics.
Ability to identify target audience preferences and build content to meet them.
Familiarity with web design and a keen understanding of web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends).
Excellent understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices.
Skills and experience in creative content writing.
Analytical mindset and critical thinking.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
BSc/BA in Marketing, Digital media, or a relevant field.
