Seasonal Driver Helper

Overview: Position set to begin November 11th, 2024

Duties:

Valid Driver's License required. Drives truck and/or van to mall(s) to pick up gifts and take them to the Christmas warehouse. Responsible for driving the truck and/or van to and from homes, agencies and churches to pick up gifts, stockings, etc. Loads and unloads gifts from the truck to the warehouse. Operates the truck and/or van in compliance with established Salvation Army standards and State driving regulations; lifts, carries, loads and unloads Christmas donations, gifts, stocks, etc.; ensures the safety, security and accountability of the vehicle and donations at all times; assists in performing work at the Christmas warehouse and center as requested.

Assist with janitorial work in the Christmas warehouse as needed.

Assist with routing of traffic when necessary at the Christmas Center as requested.

Assist with setting up trees, tables and stands for Christmas display and disassembling at the end of the Christmas Season.
