Seasonal Social Media Content Creator
Pay: $19 per hour
A fast growing Chicago based experiential events company is hiring a Seasonal Social Media Content Creator to support its pop ups, festivals, and live events throughout Chicagoland.
This is project based work tied directly to active events and campaigns. Scheduling is flexible and determined by the event calendar. You can work as much or as little as your availability allows during active projects. This is not a long term corporate role. It is hands on, event driven social media support.
A college degree is not required. What matters is that you understand social media platforms, trends, and content execution.
What You’ll Be Doing
Capturing and editing short form video and photo content at live events
Creating on brand content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and relevant platforms
Managing and scheduling content through Meta Business Suite and Metricool
Supporting automated messaging and engagement through ManyChat
Assisting with CRM and campaign workflows inside GoHighLevel
Designing graphics and visual assets using Canva
Editing short form content using CapCut
Assisting with performance tracking using platform analytics and Google Analytics
Identifying trends and applying them strategically to each event brand
Reviewing performance metrics and adjusting based on results
What We’re Looking For
Strong instincts for what is trending and why
Working knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and emerging platforms
Familiarity with Meta Business Suite, ManyChat, GoHighLevel, Canva, CapCut, Metricool, or similar marketing tools
Comfort working in fast paced event environments
A creative eye balanced with brand guidelines and direction
Professional reliability and communication
Experience growing your own platform or contributing to a brand’s social presence is valued. Formal education is not required. Social media fluency and execution skills matter most.
Compensation
Hourly Rate: $19 per hour
The hourly rate for this position is fixed at $19 per hour.
