Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Second Fix/Maintenance Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, with a focus on second fix work. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality finishes in residential projects, ensuring that all work meets industry standards and client specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Install and finish cabinetry, doors, door frames, windows, and other interior structures.
Install all types of sheeting, including plasterboard, fibre cement sheeting, eaves, etc.
Flushing/wall repairs, cornice installation, etc,
Installation of skirting boards, architraves, quad, etc.
Conduct all types of second-fix carpentry repairs and maintenance on existing residential dwellings.
Internal timber framing
Installation of kitchen/linen cupboards
General home maintenance
Requirements:
Proven experience as a carpenter, specifically in second fix work.
Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools.
Good physical condition and stamina for lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation is required.
Police check & WWCC also required to work on-site. This can be organise during the hiring process.
