Description

This role provides secretariat services to program and project boards and other forums by preparing submissions and briefing papers for meetings, provide guidance and support on the implementation of secretariat policies, procedures and templates.

Other key responsibilities include:

Prepare, maintain, and disseminate high quality documentation and other relevant information for the support program and project boards and committee(s) including minutes, actions and decisions ensuring the retention of appropriate records.
Using high level judgement and communication skills, guide and inform senior management and stakeholders as to meeting and governance parameters, outcomes and decisions.
Develop positive, collaborative working relationships with Queensland Health senior management and support staff.
Develop and manage stakeholder relationships including senior management and support staff, initiating and facilitating open communication and disseminating business information.
Analyse secretariat policies, procedures and templates, identify alternative approaches to improve work practices and implement changes to increase acceptance and stakeholder capability to comply with and adopt ICT Governance processes and relevant Terms of Reference.

To be considered for this role, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a diplomatic approach and the ability to liaise and relate to a wide range of stakeholders including senior and executive stakeholders. Further, the successful candidate will have demonstrated skills in advanced time management and work prioritisation skills, advanced Microsoft Office Suite.

Knowledge

A solid knowledge of project management methodology and gateway assurance will be highly regarded.
Previous executive support to Senior Management will be highly regarded.
Experience working within either the Government or Health sectors will be highly regarded.
