Job Description
The Securities & Derivatives Analyst 2 is an intermediate level position responsible for processing orders and transactions originating from trading desks and branch offices in coordination with the Operations - Transaction Services team. The overall objective of this role is to facilitate the clearance, settlement and investigation of client securities and derivatives transactions.
Responsibilities:
Managing day to day operations of the unit, with complete adherence to defined processes & controls.
Ensure client delivery as per SLA & defined timelines, timely action on client requirements and ability to deliver value added solutions.
Change Management (Market/Regulatory/Client driven etc.)
Compliance with various regulations
Contribute to process reviews; drive re-engineering, standardization and automation initiatives.
Managing relationship with various internal stake-holders viz. Business team, Compliance and external stake-holders viz. Stock exchange, depositories, Brokers etc.
Manage Audit deliverables.
Qualifications:
Prior work experience in Custody / capital market operations is preferred.
Fundamental understanding of Treasury products, accounting and regulatory policies
Proven ability to perform various concurrent activities/projects in a high-risk environment
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated knowledge of macros
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience in Business, Accounting, or Finance
Graduate /CA / MBA from a premier institute
