Your role

We're looking for someone like that to:

support New Zealand settlements and therefore working hours will be 7.00am AST to 3.30pm AST although there maybe opportunity for shift rotation following a training period.

be part of our Investment Banking Operation teams in Sydney, Australia.

work with teams on root cause analysis and suggest and implement process improvements

take responsibility for appropriate exception escalation and coordinate resolution delivery with relevant parties

take responsibility and ownership for the different stages of the trade lifecycle

work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all elements of the event are understood

deal with queries in a timely manner and see them through to resolution do you see opportunity when faced with a challenging problem, and are you willing to deep dive to identify solutions and deliver results

think flexibly to propose new ideas and contribute to continuous improvement of processes and services

responsible for timely reply to queries from key stakeholders

Your team

You’ll be working in the Investment Banking Operations team working closely with the Corporate Actions/Settlements/Client /Middle Office teams based in Sydney.

Your expertise

Freshers/Experienced with accounting/finance or related degree

An understanding of front to back trade flow

Fair understanding of financial markets, products and processes or of the subjects you have passed out as part of your academic curriculum

A clear communication style

The ability to identify root causes of issues and drive/ implement changes as required

Having a pragmatic "can do" attitude

An innovative approach to solving day-to-day process problems

Highly responsible, self-motivated, efficient and able to work under pressure

Continually looking to improve your own skill sets

Dependable, reliable and accountable for own behaviour. Additionally, act within professional, legal and ethical boundaries *#LI-Hybrid
