Security Architect Roles and Responsibilities
1. Conduct in-depth security assessments of new project architectures.
2. Perform comprehensive network security architecture reviews, focusing on:
a. Firewall rule configurations
b. Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) and other security tool effectiveness
c. Cloud infrastructure security
3. Represent the organization in Architecture Review Committee meetings and present informed security suggestions.
4. Identify and review risks associated with exceptions to agreed-upon security controls.
5. Develop and manage bank-wide risk assessments for information security architecture.
6. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address open information security issues and audit findings.
7. Conduct thorough risk assessments of banking solutions and applications.
8. Maintain documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
