Position Overview:
The role of a Security Guard is critical in ensuring the safety and security of personnel, property, and assets within a designated area. Security Guards are responsible for maintaining a vigilant presence, enforcing security protocols, and responding to emergencies as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Surveillance: Conduct regular patrols of the assigned area to detect and deter unauthorized access, suspicious activities, or security breaches.
2. Access Control: Monitor entry and exit points, verifying credentials and controlling access to restricted areas as per company policies and procedures.
3. Incident Response: Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, taking appropriate action to mitigate risks and maintain order.
4. Report Writing: Document all security-related incidents, observations, and activities accurately and thoroughly in written reports.
5. Customer Service: Provide courteous and professional assistance to employees, visitors, and contractors, addressing inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.
6. Safety Measures: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols, including fire prevention, evacuation procedures, and hazard recognition.
7. Equipment Operation: Operate security equipment such as CCTV cameras, access control systems, and communication devices proficiently.
8. Collaborative Efforts: Coordinate with law enforcement agencies, emergency responders, and other security personnel as needed to resolve security issues effectively.

- Physical fitness and ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods.

Working Conditions:
- Security Guards may work in various environments, including office buildings, retail stores, industrial facilities, or outdoor venues.
- Shift work is common, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
