Security Guard
What you should have:
Valid British Columbia Basic Security Training.
Advanced Security Training (Preferred but not mandatory).
Valid OFA Level 1
Minimum 1 year of experience in security and customer service
Minimum 6 months security experience working alone; comfortable working alone
Must be confident in verbal conflict de-escalation.
Proficient in the English language (verbal & written)
Able to complete high-quality reports
Strong customer service skills; friendly, accommodating but assertive and steadfast when it comes to rules enforcement for both Occupants and People of Interest encountered around the building.
Professional approach to role; acting in a disciplined, honest and ethical manner
Able to patrol and stand for long periods of time
Must be able to follow procedures and set routines effectively
Strong observation and communication skills
Experience working in a Commercial or Residential office tower preferred
Flexible availability
