GDI Services, Inc. has an opening for a Full-time unarmed Security Guard position available in Manhattan NY. Join one of the premier Security Companies in the country!
Pay: $ 17.50
Hours/Shifts:
Saturday and Sunday (PT) 12 am – 8 am

Assistance in applying for and obtaining a state license to work as security guard (where required)
Flexible scheduling
Responsibilities:
Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security/safety of premises.
Effectively interact with a variety of persons including clients, visitors, public safety officials, employees, and the general public
Presents oneself in a professional manner through appearance and conduct.
Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property.
Guard, patrol, and monitor industrial or commercial premises to prevent safety hazards, theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
Monitor for irregular or suspicious activity.
Comply and enforce all company & client's rules, regulations, policies, and procedures, and respond to emergency situations requiring security assistance.
Escort on foot or by motor vehicle to transport individuals to specified locations or to provide personal protection or to ****** persons off customer property.
Investigate and prepare reports on incidents.
Completes daily and special reports by recording observations and information.
Being alert to observe, correct, and report safety and security hazards.
Responding to alarm signals (fire, medical emergency, inclement weather, safety/security threats, etc.)
Promoting safety to prevent accidents.
Comply with all specific post instructions.
All other duties that are required and/or assigned manager.
Qualifications:
Veterans & Law Enforcement are encouraged to apply
Military experience preferred
21 yrs. old or older
Must be in possession of a valid S.O.R.A license or NY Security license (Depending on location of position)
At least 2 years' experience in security
CPR and First aid/AED Certify (Company will pay for training)
