We are looking for a Security Guard to join our team and ensure the safety of our premises, assets, and personnel. The successful candidate will be responsible for patrolling the facility, monitoring surveillance equipment, responding to alarms, and investigating disturbances. The ideal candidate should have excellent observational skills and be able to think quickly in challenging situations. They should also be able to communicate effectively with staff and visitors.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property.
Answer alarms and investigate disturbances.
Patrol industrial and commercial premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 24 months
Pay: $1+.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
