Job Description
Allied Universal is seeking Security Guard in Toronto, Ontario.
Job Title: Security Gaurd
Location: Toronto, ON
Type: Full Time
Pay Rate: $21.00 to $22.00 per hour
Shifts: Saturday and Sunday, 19:00 - 07:00
Overview :
Allied Universal is looking for a professional and customer-service-oriented Security Guard to join our team at a corporate location in Toronto. This role involves maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and clients. The ideal candidate will be well-spoken, dependable, and able to handle routine duties with professionalism and discretion.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Greet and screen all visitors, verify credentials, and ensure only authorized personnel are granted access to the building.
Perform regular foot patrols throughout the office floors, common areas, and surrounding property to ensure safety and security.
Oversee the flow of people entering and exiting the building, including lobby activity and visitor logs.
Observe security cameras and alarm systems to detect any unusual activity or potential security threats.
Respond calmly and effectively to emergencies such as fire alarms, medical incidents, or security breaches, and follow company protocols.
Accurately document and report incidents, observations, and daily activity in a timely manner.
Maintain a polished, courteous, and professional demeanor to promote a safe and welcoming environment.
Work closely with office management, building services, and other team members to support daily operations and ensure security protocols are followed.
REQUIREMENTS :
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a security role; corporate experience is an asset.
Must have a valid Ontario Security License.
Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 24 hours a week.
