Position: Event Security Guard
Position Type: Casual / Contract - based on event contracts with possible transition to permanent employment based on performance
Location: Ontario – Multiple Event Venues
Reports To: Event Security Supervisor

Position Summary:
The Event Security Guard plays a critical front-line role in maintaining the safety, order, and experience of guests at public and private events. This role requires proactive observation, strong communication skills, and a customer service–oriented approach to safety enforcement.
Responsibilities:
Monitor crowd activity and identify risks such as intoxication, aggression, or unsafe behavior.
Conduct access control duties, including checking tickets, credentials, and bags.
Respond to calls for assistance and support emergency response protocols.
Deliver professional and courteous service to all patrons.
Complete incident documentation and provide verbal and written reports to supervisory staff.
Work with event partners to ensure event is smooth and safe for all.
Requirements:
Valid Ontario Security Guard License
Valid First Aid/CPR/AED Certification
Smart Serve Certification
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High attention to detail and situational awareness
Successful completion of the mandatory pre-deployment training program
