Job Summary:
We are looking for a vigilant and professional Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our fine dining restaurant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring the premises, preventing unauthorized access, and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff. This role requires strong observational skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to handle security-related situations calmly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor restaurant entrances, exits, and public areas to prevent unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment.
Greet and assist guests in a courteous and professional manner.
Conduct routine patrols of the premises to detect suspicious activity, theft, or vandalism.
Respond promptly to security incidents, disturbances, or emergencies and take appropriate action.
Work closely with restaurant staff to ensure a smooth and safe dining experience for guests.
Monitor surveillance cameras and report any irregularities or security threats.
Assist with crowd control during peak hours or special events.
Enforce restaurant policies and guidelines related to security and guest conduct.
Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services if required.
Maintain detailed incident reports and logs of security activities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of experience in security, preferably in the hospitality or fine dining sector.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Security training or certification is a plus.
Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
Physically fit and capable of standing or patrolling for extended periods.
Knowledge of basic first aid and emergency response procedures is an advantage.
Professional demeanor and adherence to a high standard of personal appearance.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
