WATCH GUARD 24/7 is the leading security guard provider in the New York Metropolitan area. We are currently seeking a dedicated professional interested in security work for our private school safety division, with locations within the NYC boroughs. Flex scheduling availability

Location: Willing to travel throughout the 5 boroughs (Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Staten Island) (great opportunity for retired law enforcement or Military personnel)
Schedule: Monday-Friday days/mornings $26.29 per hour

WATCH GUARD 24/7 IS PROUDLY LICENSED BY THE NEW YORK STATE DEPARTMENT OF LICENSING SERVICES
Responsibilities:
Officer's responsibilities will generally include, but not be limited to:
Serving predominantly as front entrance security presence and maintaining high visibility
Securing identification and managing the signing-in and out of visitors
Assisting visitors with directions
Patrolling and monitoring school indoor and outdoor facilities to ensure the safety and well-being of students and staff and the security of the facility
Assisting as needed with general supervision in the breakfast and lunch periods as well as in morning arrival and afternoon dismissal of students
Reporting any disciplinary infractions, unauthorized visitors, and acts of vandalism to the Principal
Notifying the Principal of any emergency, potentially dangerous, or unusual situations and assisting where appropriate
Displaying ethical and professional behavior in working with students, parents, school personnel, and outside agencies associated with the school
Adhering to Client policies, procedures, and rules
Qualifications:
Prior Law enforcement or Military Service preferred
Security Guard License
Must be able to obtain W-07 Fireguard before beginning employment, CPR training
Must be able to pass drug test
