OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Unarmed Security Guard to join our team. As an Unarmed Security Guard, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment locations of assignment.
UNARMED SECURITY OFFICER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Conduct regular patrols to ensure the security of the premises by patrolling property, inspecting perimeter, equipment and access points permitting entry
- Enforce property regulations and guidelines
-Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences
- Provide assistance for employee sign/out sheets when needed
-Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager
- Report any suspicious activities or incidents to the appropriate authorities
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary
SECURITY OFFICER / UNARMED GUARD / SECURITY GUARD REQUIREMENTS:
-Valid NYS Security Guard License
-High School Diploma / GED required
-Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form
-Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position
-Military experience a plus
-Protective security experience a plus
