This role involves monitoring activities, preventing loss, and maintaining a secure environment through attentive surveillance and prompt response to incidents. The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills, a professional demeanor, and relevant experience in security or law enforcement.
Responsibilities
Conduct regular patrols of the facility to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risks.
Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to observe activity across the premises.
Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, and coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
Enforce company policies and safety regulations to prevent theft, vandalism, or other security breaches.
Maintain detailed incident reports and logs of daily activities, security breaches, or unusual occurrences.
Control access points by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and vendors.
Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious behavior and intervening when appropriate.
Experience
Prior experience in law enforcement, security services, or related fields is preferred.
Familiarity with surveillance systems such as CCTV is highly desirable.
Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and security protocols is beneficial.
Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert during long shifts.
Excellent communication skills for effective reporting and interaction with team members and visitors.
