Roles and Responsibilities : Role Overview:
As an Info Security Manager with Level 3 Support responsibilities, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the security and integrity of our organization's IT infrastructure and systems. In addition to overseeing the development and implementation of security policies and procedures, you will provide advanced technical support and expertise to address complex security incidents and vulnerabilities. Your role will be essential in maintaining a secure and resilient IT environment while providing guidance and mentorship to Level 3 support staff.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement comprehensive IT security strategies, policies, and standards to safeguard against cyber threats, data breaches, and unauthorized access.
• Lead the IT security governance program, conducting risk assessments, security audits, and compliance reviews to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Provide Level 3 support for security incidents, including advanced troubleshooting, analysis, and resolution of complex security issues across multiple platforms and technologies.
• Establish and maintain security controls, including access controls, encryption, authentication mechanisms, and intrusion detection/prevention systems, to effectively mitigate security risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess security requirements, prioritize initiatives, and integrate security best practices into IT operations and projects.
• Conduct security awareness training and education programs for IT staff and end-users to promote a culture of security awareness and compliance.
• Monitor and analyze security incidents, vulnerabilities, and emerging threats, coordinating incident response and remediation efforts as necessary.
• Manage relationships with external security vendors, consultants, and service providers to leverage expertise and resources for security enhancements and support.
• Stay updated with industry developments, emerging threats, and evolving technologies in IT security to recommend proactive measures and improvements.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to Level 3 support staff, fostering professional growth and development within the team.

Requirements :
Required Skills/Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in IT security management, including Level 3 support, incident response, and risk management in enterprise environments.
• Expert-level knowledge of IT security principles, standards, frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework), and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS).
• Advanced technical skills in security technologies and tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), SIEM, and identity/access management solutions.
• Proficiency in conducting security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate security risks effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex security issues in a timely manner.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop staff in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
• Experience with cloud security technologies and best practices for securing cloud environments (e.g. Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with security automation, scripting, and orchestration tools (e.g., Python, Ansible, Terraform) for streamlining security operations.
