Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. The Security Officer will work closely with law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
Responsibilities
Monitor and patrol designated areas to ensure safety and security.
Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies and take appropriate action.
Utilize CCTV and surveillance systems to monitor activities and identify potential threats.
Conduct regular inspections of the premises to prevent theft, vandalism, or other criminal activities.
Implement loss prevention strategies to safeguard company assets.
Prepare detailed reports of incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary.
Provide assistance in conflict management situations while maintaining professionalism.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of security protocols, emergency procedures, and relevant laws.
Qualifications
Previous experience in law enforcement or military service is preferred but not required.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance techniques is an advantage.
CPR certification and First Aid training are highly desirable.
Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in all situations.
